Smile Keepers - Hüter des Lächelns
Description
A programme to promote self-awareness and the perception of others by Nada Ignjatovic Savic
IN GERMAN LANGUAGE
Nada Ignjatovic-Savic worked for over 30 years as a developmental psychologist at the University of Belgrade in research and teaching. As co-founder and director of the Centre for Nonviolent Communication Smile Keepers, her declared aim was to sensitise people to self-confident behaviour - both towards themselves and others. Her programme to promote self-awareness and the perception of others is not about a superficial "keep smiling", but about much more: every feeling can be perceived as a valuable gift and reveals important insights on the way to getting to know ourselves and others better.
The following skills in children are activated and strengthened through playful relationship work:
- emotional stability
- Getting a grip on sensitivities and conflicts
- communication skills
- self-knowledge
- empathy
- Trust in yourself and others
Nada Ignjatovic-Savic died on 19 July 2011 in Belgrade. She lives on day after day in the hearts of many children and adults through her commitment to non-violent communication. The learning workshops presented here are aimed at children aged 5 to 10.
